Inspiration: Mexican artist Frida Kahlo suffered from polio in early childhood and a terrible bus accident in her teens.  She had multiple fractures which were operated on throughout her life.  Despite these setbacks she resiliently and passionately explored her creativity.  She was best known for adventurous self-portraits, and definitely did not follow the crowd, proudly sporting a monobrow.

Frida Kahlo-inspired fashion is trending at the moment too.  You can read more in the Blue Flamingo blog.

Artist Judith Dawson pays tribute to the inspirational and unique Frida in this design.
