Inspiration: This design is taken from Judith Dawson’s watercolour capturing the subtle variations of the pink tones in the beautiful hibiscus flower. The flower symbolises many things around the world including health, beauty, glory and respect. For artist Judith Dawson it represents creativity, as she first began to paint and design when she lived in Portugal and was struck by the vibrancy of the hibiscus and other native flora. You can read more about the symbolism of the hibiscus here and Judith’s journey as an artist here.
